Uninterrupted Uptime
Thanks to our redundant network and storage layer, we offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee. This means a reduced risk of unplanned downtime for an e-commerce panel taking orders or an actively queried MSSQL database.
Windows Cloud Server Hosting
A cloud infrastructure prepared for your ASP.NET projects, MSSQL databases, and Windows-dependent corporate software. You can manage the Windows server rental process from a single panel and receive your server in minutes. You can start with our cheap windows cloud server packages for small-scale projects, and add resources on the same windows virtual server when the load increases.
Windows cloud server prices are directly proportional to the resources you use: you do not pay for idle CPU or RAM. The price is instantly updated when the location, Windows Server version, and payment period are selected; the payment is processed on the order panel based on the fee displayed here.
A Windows cloud server is a virtual server installed with the Windows Server operating system and based on a cloud infrastructure rather than a single physical machine. Resources are completely dedicated to you, such as CPU, RAM, and disk; you manage the server just like a machine in your office.
Unlike the command line on the Linux side, you are greeted with a familiar graphical user interface (GUI). The screen you see when you connect via Remote Desktop is exactly the same as the Windows desktop you use daily: you open Server Manager, list services, and install software by double-clicking. The learning curve is almost non-existent for a team accustomed to Windows.
On the infrastructure side, it differs from a classic physical server: in the event of a hardware failure, your workload is moved to another node, and you do not need to buy a new server when your resource needs change. You can examine the Linux equivalent of the same logic on our cloud server infrastructure page.
Every package comes with the core components you will need in a production environment. You start working the moment you receive your server, without purchasing additional modules.
Thanks to our redundant network and storage layer, we offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee. This means a reduced risk of unplanned downtime for an e-commerce panel taking orders or an actively queried MSSQL database.
DDoS filtering, firewall rules, and an isolated virtual network layer come as standard. You define your own Windows Update policy; patches are applied according to your schedule.
With port speeds up to 10 Gbps and unlimited monthly traffic, it easily runs file servers, backup targets, or applications receiving heavy user traffic.
You can increase or decrease CPU, RAM, and disk space from the panel. You don't need to reinstall the server; resource changes are completed with a short restart.
Connect to your server via Remote Desktop (RDP) and install any software you want with the Administrator account. IIS, MSSQL Server, or a corporate accounting application — the installation decision is entirely up to you.
During setup, you choose between Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 versions. If your application depends on a specific version, you can move the exact environment to the cloud without breaking compatibility.
Select the Windows version you need with our one-click installation templates; we handle the rest, including the license, drivers, and network configuration.
| Windows Version | Suitable Projects | Installation |
|---|---|---|
| Windows Server 2025 | New .NET versions, setups requiring up-to-date security features | One-click automatic |
| Windows Server 2022 | ASP.NET Core, IIS 10, MSSQL Server 2019/2022, RDP scenarios | One-click automatic |
| Windows Server 2019 | Corporate ERP, accounting software, Active Directory environments | One-click automatic |
| Windows Server 2016 | Legacy .NET Framework applications and legacy software dependent on older versions | One-click automatic |
| Windows 11 | Desktop application tests, remote work environments, bots, and automation | One-click automatic |
Minimize latency times by choosing the location closest to your target audience. Our Windows Server templates are offered in the locations below; all our data centers are equipped with redundant power, climate control, and 24/7 physical security.
When renting a Windows server, what makes the difference is not the hardware, but how you manage that hardware. We stand out at MaviHost in four ways.
Unlike our competitors, we do not use ready-made external software. Thanks to our powerful in-house panel, you can handle restarts, ISO uploads, taking snapshots, and adding hardware in seconds from a single interface without opening a support ticket.
Your servers run in our data centers at the most suitable location for you, such as Turkey (Istanbul), Europe, and Canada. Being close to your users minimizes perceived latency, especially in RDP sessions.
Once payment is confirmed, your server is automatically set up and your access details are delivered. Windows installation, license activation, drivers, and network configuration do not keep you waiting.
You can reach our technical team directly 24/7 for a seamless cloud experience. In case of an infrastructure-related issue, you receive solutions in Turkish from our expert engineers.
A Windows cloud server is meaningful for almost any team running OS-dependent software. The most common scenarios we encounter are:
The native environment for ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and classic .NET Framework applications running on IIS. You publish directly from Visual Studio and manage application pools on the server.
Dedicated CPU and RAM for Microsoft SQL Server installations. You set up backup plans via SQL Server Agent and run your database without the constraints of a shared environment.
Most accounting, pre-accounting, inventory, and ERP software run only on Windows. Users in your branches connect to the same database via a centralized server.
Teams working in different cities or from home connect to the same server via RDP. Data is kept in a centralized and backed-up environment, not on personal computers.
Windows-based e-commerce infrastructures and management panels continue to operate without slowing down by adding resources during campaign periods when traffic increases.
Tell us about your workload, and let's calculate your resource needs together. We also provide objective assessments on the Windows vs. Linux question.
The most obvious advantage is working in a familiar environment. If your team already knows Windows Server, they don't need to learn a separate system in the cloud; Group Policy, Active Directory, and IIS work the same way. This directly reduces time lost during the transition process.
The second advantage appears on the cost side. Buying a physical server means upfront hardware investment and depreciation. In the MaviHost cloud model (Opex), you pay monthly, add resources when your project grows, and scale down when it shrinks. If you are looking for a fixed-resource alternative, our VDS server solutions can also be considered.
Many 'windows cloud server' packages in the market are actually full of old hardware, separately billed licenses, and hidden costs. The MaviHost difference lies in transparency and the quality of the infrastructure.
Hundreds of Windows projects are live with MaviHost cloud servers. Here are a few notes from our users:
"We moved our ASP.NET-based ordering system from the server in our own office to MaviHost. Because we could select the same Windows Server version, we didn't change a single line of code on the application side. The transition was finished in a weekend."
"Eight people simultaneously connect to our accounting program via remote desktop. Data that used to be scattered across branch computers is now in a single place and backed up. When resources fall short, we just add RAM via the MaviHost panel and continue."
"We wanted dedicated resources for our MSSQL database. Server installation came automatically via the MaviHost panel, and we had the RDP credentials in no time. Being able to correspond in Turkish for support turned out to be much more practical than we expected."

A Windows cloud server is a server running the Windows Server operating system that is not tied to a single physical machine. Your server runs on a hardware pool; if a machine in this pool encounters a problem, your workload is transferred to another node. Resources (CPU, RAM, NVMe disk) are dedicated to you, and you manage the server with Administrator privileges, just like a machine in your office.
The most common use case for a Windows cloud server is operating system-dependent applications. ASP.NET and .NET Framework projects run on IIS and cannot be directly migrated to a Linux environment. The situation is similar for MSSQL Server databases: dedicated CPU and RAM directly affect query performance. Apart from these, the majority of accounting, inventory, and ERP software can only be installed on Windows.
On the Windows server rental side, you have two options: a cloud model where resources change according to need, or a virtual server with fixed resources. The cloud model is more suitable for projects with fluctuating traffic, while the fixed-resource model is better for workloads with known and stable resource needs. If you are looking for fixed resources, you can evaluate our VDS packages, and for smaller-scale projects, our VPS packages.
Windows cloud server prices are determined based on the CPU cores, RAM amount, disk space, monthly traffic, and location you choose. Compared to buying a physical server, the most obvious difference is the elimination of the upfront hardware investment: you pay monthly and add resources as your needs increase.
| Price Determinant | Impact |
|---|---|
| CPU core count | Determining factor in IIS application pools and MSSQL query performance |
| RAM amount | Critical for Windows Server's own consumption and database caching |
| Disk type and space | NVMe SSD offers exponentially higher IOPS than SATA SSD |
| Traffic limit | Determines the monthly data transfer limit; it is unlimited in our packages |
| Location | Prices vary across Turkey, Sweden, and Canada locations |
| OS license | Standard Windows Server license is included in the package price |
Cheap windows cloud server packages are generally sufficient for small-scale projects or test environments; as your load grows, you can upgrade to a higher package without reinstalling the server. When planning your budget, it helps to measure your application's resource usage during peak hours and choose the package accordingly. An unnecessarily high package means paying for unused resources.
During installation, you choose from Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 versions; a Windows 11 template is also available for desktop scenarios. If your application is tied to a specific version, you can move the same environment to the cloud while maintaining compatibility. When you want to reinstall your operating system later, you can do a fresh installation from the panel in a few minutes.
Security must be handled in two layers. In the infrastructure layer, MaviHost takes responsibility for hardware Anti-DDoS filtering, isolated virtual network (VLAN) configuration, and image-based regular backups (snapshots). On the server side, changing the default RDP port, enforcing a strong password policy, restricting access to specific IP addresses, and regularly installing Windows updates are foundational measures. When these two layers work together, your server reaches the security level required for a production environment.
